This traditional inn and restaurant is perfectly located for lunch or a refreshing drink as you travel by, a romantic evening meal or Sunday carvery, or stay longer for a family holiday. Set in 2.5 acres, surrounded by moorland and unspoilt countryside, The West Country Inn is a former 16th century Coaching Inn, full of character and warmth.

Between the towns of Bideford and Bude, on the A39 North Devon Atlantic Highway, the Inn boasts a wealth of original features, open fireplaces and stunning views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Furthermore, we have a carvery and function room and a cosy restaurant with original flagstone flooring and crooked beams.

In the evenings, after a long day of exploring the wonderful surroundings, you can relax in the games room or in the lounge and bar. In the warmer months, the beer garden is the ideal spot for a refreshing drink.
